1. Prohibited uses
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Upload, store, or share content that is illegal, or that infringes the intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights of any person.
- Upload content you do not have the rights or consents to submit — including copyrighted material and third-party personal data.
- Distribute malware, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other workspaces, or another tenant’s data.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or breach security or authentication measures, without our written permission.
- Overload or abuse shared resources (for example, excessive automated requests) beyond documented limits.
- Use the Service to send spam or unlawful communications, or for any unlawful, harmful, or deceptive purpose.
2. Copyright and DMCA notices
We respect intellectual-property rights and respond to valid notices of alleged infringement. If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent at [dmca@canvasapprovals.com] including:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing and enough information to locate it (for example, the workspace and approval ID).
- Your contact information (address, phone, email).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
We may remove or disable access to allegedly infringing material and terminate repeat infringers. A counter-notice process is available to the affected customer where applicable.
3. Email and marketing compliance
We follow applicable email laws (for example, CAN-SPAM and, where relevant, GDPR/PECR). Accordingly:
- Transactional emails (email verification, approval notifications) are sent to operate the Service.
- Marketing emails are sent only with a lawful basis or consent, use honest, non-deceptive subject lines and sender information, and include a working one-click unsubscribe link.
- Unsubscribe requests are honored promptly. You can also contact [privacy@canvasapprovals.com] to opt out.
- You must not use the Service or workspace data to send unlawful marketing to your own contacts.
4. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access, remove content, or take other action we consider appropriate. Serious violations may be reported to the authorities.
